An open auction of attractive registration marks of 'LZE' series will be held here on Monday, September 27 at the office of Director Excise & Taxation Region-C Lahore.
According to official sources, the reserved price for LZE-1 will be Rs 10,000/-, for LZE- 7 and LZE-786 Rs 7,500/- while it will be Rs 5,000/- for remaining 133 attractive numbers of the series.
According to the new scheme and policy guidelines, issued by the Punjab Secretary Excise & Taxation, Sami Saeed around a year back, sealed bids are also invited for sale of three-digit numbers of any series of registration marks in Lahore. The reserved price fixed for participation in sealed bid is Rs 1,000.
The provincial government was fetching substantial revenue through sale of attractive registration marks of vehicles in the province for which credit went to sitting Secretary E&T who ensured transparency and openness in this process, the sources claimed.
