The Lahore High Court (LHC) has called for a report from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in a petition filed by Imran Ashraf, president, Sialkot Cricket Association, challenging scrutiny of the members of the Association by the PCB.
The petitioner contended that the respondent PCB officials are conducting scrutiny of the Association members with mala fide intentions.
He prayed to the court to stop the scrutiny process, and direct the respondents to act in accordance with the law.
The court, after hearing the petitioner's counsel at length, called for a report and comments from the PCB, and rose for the day.
