A division bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday suspended orders of the accountability court, convicting former Mayor Multan Salahuddin Dogar, and allowed bail to him.
The court also issued notice to the National Accountability Bureau Chairman and rose for the day.
The applicant was convicted for five-year with a fine of Rs 20 million on the charges of corruption and making illegal assets. The court had also declared him disqualified from being the member of the parliament for next 10 years.
