Quaid-i-Azam University Vice Chancellor Dr E.U.G. Esani has inaugurated the development work of the University Housing Scheme at the Sector G-14/4 in close proximity of the Motorway inter-change.
In a simple ceremony held at the Sector G-14/4, Dr Esani congratulated the university staff for this occasion, the University staff participated in the ceremony.
National Constructions Director General Brigadier Dilber Husain Naqvi (Retd) accompanied Dr Esani at the occasion.
The vice-chancellor said the development work would be completed within record time of 12 months, adding the National Constructions is collaborating with the Nespack Construction Company for the timely completion. The Company gave a presentation with the help of maps about the development works area of the sector.
Dr Dushka Syed, controller exams of the University has played a key role in securing 740 plots for the university staff under the Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation in the G/14 sector.
These plots were only given to the staff having job duration over 10 years. The university administration is also trying to adjust remaining of the staff in the second phase of new plot allotment in the capital city.
