Pakistan will take on India in the eighth and final hockey Test match at Hyderabad Deccan (India) on October 10 under floodlights, Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) announced in a press release on Tuesday.
Pakistan is currently enjoying a 3-1 lead in the eight-Test series. The Fourth Test at Lahore ended in a 4-4 draw.
Pakistan's dreaded penalty corner striker Sohail Abbas needs another goal to break the longst standing world record of 267 goals held by Paul Litjens by converting a penalty stroke.
Double Olympian Sohail equalled Paul Litjens' record in the fifth match of the series on Monday.
The sixth Test match of the series will be played Chandigarh on Wednesday at 1.50 pm. and 7th match at Amritsar on October 8 at 1.50 pm The final match of the series will be played under lights at Hyderabad at 8.00 pm, it said.
