Pakistani women's associations, particularly those dealing with textile and apparel, have been invited to an international Muslim women's textile and apparel conference being held on December 2 and 3 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The purpose of the conference is to create awareness and consciousness among Muslim women about the significance of women's apparel not only as a religious requirement, but also to show elegant dressing and good grooming whilst keeping abreast with the market trends.
Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) Secretary General Aqeel A. Al Jassem has advised all member institutions to circulate the information among their members so that they actively participate in the event. The conference was actually scheduled for September 7 and 8, but was postponed on the request of the Malaysian Prime Minister's department.
