Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (JCSC) General Ehsanul Haq and Vice Chief of Army Staff (VCOAS) General Ahsan Saleem Hyat called on Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz at the Prime Minister House separately on Saturday and discussed with him professional matters.
The Prime Minister congratulated General Ehsanul Haq and General Ahsan Saleem Hyat on their appointment as the chairman JCSC and VCOAS, respectively, and expressed the confidence that they would be able to contribute substantially towards bolstering the country's defence.
Talking to the Prime Minister, the chairman JCSC and VCOAS said they would do their utmost to live up to the trust reposed in them and also lauded the Prime Minister's vision for the socio-economic development of the country.
