The Governor of Xingjiang province, Peoples Republic of China, Ismail Tilwaldi along with a 20-member delegation on Saturday visited various historical places in the city, Mazar-e-Iqbal, Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Fort and museum.
At the Mazar of Allama Iqbal, District Nazim Mian Aamir Mahmood received the delegation. The Chinese governor laid a floral wreath at the Mazar and offered Fateha. He took keen interest in the relics placed at the Badhshi Mosque during the visit.
The officials of the Punjab government briefed the delegation members during their visit to the Fort about its history.
