Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, in a meeting with Ismail Tillwadi Governor of Xinjiang province of China here on Saturday, said that relations between China and Pakistan were time-tested and an example for others to follow.
The chief minister apprised the Chinese guest and other members of his delegation that the Punjab government had introduced innovative marketing techniques in the field of agriculture, adding the provincial government was making sincere efforts for promotion of infrastructure in the province.
He said the peoples of both brotherly countries were making efforts for promotion of world peace and economic solidarity in the region.
The Chinese governor appreciating the efforts of the Punjab government in its development endeavours hailed steps undertaken for the rights of the minorities.
