Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi chairing a meeting held here on Tuesday to review pace of work in Sundar Industrial Estate has announced a number of steps for promotion of industrial development in the province to start with the establishment of industrial estate at Rahim Yar Khan.
Pervaiz while announcing the steps, averred the establishment of industrial estates in rural areas, provision of industrial sheds to industrialists, establishment of treatment plants at three different venues in Punjab.
Announcing establishment of Medicine Research Laboratory costing Rs 50 million in Sundar, he announced to start industrial estate from Rahim Yar Khan under the project of industrial development programme in rural areas.
Earlier, Federal Minister Industries Jehangir Khan Tareen speaking on the occasion stated federal government on the pattern of Sundar was to initiate industrial estate projects in other provinces.
Punjab Sundar Estate Managing Director briefing on the occasion dilated that Rs 30 billion investment was to occur in the industrial estate in coming three year period.
