Stepan Sulakshin, President Committee for Industrial Development and High Technologies of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and leader of the 21 member Russian Trade and Investment Mission has assured all help to Pakistani businessmen in the promotion of trade and economic co-operation between the two countries.
Speaking at a meeting of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) on Wednesday evening, he also called for close co-operation between the private sector businessmen of the two countries to promote trade and economic relocations between the two countries.
He expressed hope that today's meeting will lead to more meeting between the businessmen of the two countries.
He called for frequent exchange of trade delegations and participation in fairs and exhibitions and regular exchange of information relating to trade and industry.
Welcoming the guests, Riaz Ahmed Tata, President FPCCI, said that there was big scope for developing trade and economic co-operation between the two countries.
He said that the engineering, automobile and heavy machinery sector were highly developed in Russian and it would be most welcome if private sector of Pakistan was helped in these sectors through investment and joint venture collaboration.
