US Assistant Secretary of State for South Asian Affairs Christina Rocca arrived here on Saturday to hold talks with Pakistani leaders on wide-ranging issues. She is expected to discuss with Pakistani leaders the situation in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan-India Composite Dialogue, Pak-US ties, nuclear non-proliferation and the global war against terrorism.
It is part of her periodic visits to discuss and review developments taking place in the region and world," US embassy sources said.
Rocca will call on President General Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri and Foreign Secretary Riaz Khokhar.
Rocca is a frequent visitor to Pakistan and will also visit Afghanistan.
