Sindh Culture and Tourism Department is working on a series of cultural shows including local music programmes, literary conferences, 'Mushaira', cultural dramas and documentaries, and fashion shows after Eid-ul-Fitr to promote cultural and social activities in the city.
This was stated by Provincial Minister for Culture, Tourism and Social Welfare, Bashir Ahmed Qaimkhani while addressing senior officers of his Department in his office, official sources said here on Sunday.
He asked them to revive and promote the activities for highlighting culture and traditions of Sindh.
He ordered to prepare cultural dramas and documentaries to introduce the new generation to cultural values of the Indus valley.
He said with the partnership of a private party a fashion show was being planned where wide-range of designs, from old and traditional to modern, would be available.
