Massive Indian human rights violations in Indian occupied Kashmir (IOK) will come under particular focus at the two-day International Peace Conference being held in London on October 25-26.
According to Kashmir Media Service, security and stability of South Asia will be deliberated upon in detail in the conference.
Speakers on October 25 will include the APHC chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, the Chairman of Pakistan Kashmir Committee, Hamid Nasir Chattha, General Secretary of the Pakistan Muslim League, Mushahid Hussain Syed, Sardar Atique Ahmad Khan of Muslim Conference, Amir of Jamaat-i-Islami, Ijaz Afzal Khan, Dr Ghulam Nabi Mir, Barrister Abdul Majid Tramboo and former Pakistan Foreign Secretary Najamuddin Shaikh.
The APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani was invited to attend the conference. However, he was refused travel documents by the Indian government for his London visit and he will not be able to participate in it.
The list of speakers on the second day, October 26, include Lord Bill Mackenzie, Dr G. N. Fai, Jouls Elles, Mushahid Hussain Syed, Najamuddin Shaikh, Dr Shirin Mazari, Roger Godsiff MP, Gautam Nualkha, and Victoria Schofield.
The speakers will dwell in detail on Indian-state-terrorism in occupied Kashmir and various aspects of the Kashmir dispute.
The conference has been jointly sponsored by Kashmiri American Council, Washington, Justice Foundation, London and Kashmir Centre, Brussels. Besides India and Pakistan, the invitees include those from Azad Kashmir, occupied Kashmir, and members of Parliament of various European countries.
The inaugural session of the conference will be addressed, besides Lord Nazir Ahmad, by the Executive Director of Kashmir Centre, London, Professor Nazir Ahmad Shawl.
