The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) on Monday gave a strike call on October 25 on the occasion of Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh's visit to occupied Kashmir.
This was decided at an extraordinary meeting of the APHC in occupied Srinagar presided over by its chairman Syed Ali Geelani, KMS reported.
Leaders of all constituent units of the APHC attended the meeting. The meeting also gave a strike call on October 27. It was on this day in 1947 that Indian troops had landed in occupied Srinagar.
The strike on 25th is intended to demonstrate to the Indian Prime Minister that the Kashmiris condemn Indian State terrorism.
