Bears stage comeback on ISE

Equities witnessed broad-based erosion at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls handed over the floor to the bears amid the decrease in the ISE index. The ISE network index showed a decrease of 75.43 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,797.84 to 11,722.41 points. The overall turnover amounted to 2,286,800 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,372,900 shares.
Total 131 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (66) landed in minus zone, 63 showed positive signs, while two companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The volume of OGDCL was 1,073,800 shares as compared to previous turnover of 1,599,500 shares.
The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser was 514,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 350,500 shares. The volume of PTCL was 444,000 shares.
