The Karachi Port handled 104,926 tonnes of cargo including 98,731 tonnes import and 6,195 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 49,157 tonnes dry and 55,769 tonnes liquid cargo.
Four ships namely Dong He, Prex, MT Swat and Alpha Power sailed out to sea during the report period.
Four vessels viz Global Progress, Apl Ivory, Oranje and Sinar Bontang are currently at the berths.
Five ships namely Wilmington, Oranje, Lauren and Apl Ivory expected to sail on Wednesday, while two ships namely Bolan and Global Progress are expected to sail on Thursday.
Three ships namely Sita Camilla, Gao and Hyundai Future due to arrive on Wednesday, while six vessels viz Nur Yanbu, Kota Waruna, Kota Mesra, Apl Orchid, Iran Kordestan and Thor Captain are due to arrive on Thursday.
A total cargo volume of 34,898 tonnes including 22,947 tonnes import and 11,951 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 3,016 tonnes chemicals; 2,000 tonnes edible oil; 9,550 tonnes wheat and 20,332 tonnes containerised cargo.
Four vessels viz Bum Ju, Maersk Arezona, Anette Kosan and Eburna sailed out to sea during the report period, while another ship Spar Sirius is expected to sail on Wednesday.

Three vessels viz P&O Nedlloyd Cobra, Lauren and Al Mirqab due to arrive on Wednesday, while three more ships namely Min Noble, Yanaseni and Star Gridanger are due to arrive on Thursday.
