Bulls returned on the driving seat on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed recovery signs amid increase in index. The ISE network index was up by 8.89 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,722.41 to 11,731.30 points, while the overall turnover amounted to 2,853,800 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,286,800 shares.
Total 126 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (69) closed in positive territory, 55 landed in minus column, while two companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The volume of OGDCL was 1,228,200 shares as compared to previous turnover of 1,073,800 shares. The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser was 588,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 514,000 shares. The volume of PTCL was 494,000 shares.
