Equities continued to show negative signs on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bears remained in the driving seat amid the decrease in the index. The ISE network index was down by 31.35 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,437.54 to 11,406.19 points, while the overall turnover amounted to 1,683,900 shares as compared to previous volume of 3,330,700 shares.
Total 87 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (29) closed in positive territory, 55 stocks landed in minus column, while three companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The volume of OGDCL was 812,700 shares as compared to previous turnover of 2,010,100 shares. The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser was 385,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 840,000 shares.
The volume of PTCL was 290,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 334,500 shares.
