Women Wing of Pakistan Muslim League has constituted a Central Supreme Council comprising women parliamentarians to streamline the efforts of women to resolve problems of the people.
President Pakistan Muslim League Woman Wing and Advisor to Prime Minister on Women Development Nelofar Bakhtiar announcing the names of Central Supreme Council members here said it would co-ordinate the efforts of women parliamentarians to further strengthen and streamline the Woman Wing of the party.
All provinces had been given due representation in that Council and it included federal ministers, ministers of state, Senators and MNAs, she said.
According to the announcement of Nelofar Bakhtiar, the members of the Central Supreme Council were Federal Minister Zobaida Jalal, Ministers of State Sumera Malik, Ghulam Bibi Bharwana, Hina Rabbani Khar and Shahnaz Sheikh.
From the Senate, the members are Dr Nighat Agha, Rozena Alam Khan, Gulshan Sayed, Pari Gul Agha, Bibi Yasmin Shah, Fauzia Fakhar Zaman, Roshan Barocha, Kulsoom Perven and Shirin Noor.
From National Assembly the members of the Council are Mehnaz Rafi, Tanzeela Amir Cheema, Dr Donia Aziz, Kashmala Tariq, Saira Tariq, Riffat Amjad, Bushra Rehman, Farzeen Ahmed Sarfraz, Shahzadi Umerzadi Tiwana, Raheela Yahya, Asia Azeem, Dr Firdous Awan, Begum Tehmina Dasti, Oneza Ehsan, Bushra Anwar Sipra, Rozena Tufail, Tahira Asif, Meena Ehsan Leghari, Aila Malik, Fizza Jenejo, Shamim Akhtar, Afsar Begum, Shabeena Tallat, Gul Farkhanda, Khurshid Afghan, Zeb Gohar Ayub and Noor Jehan Panezai.
