Pakistan Railways will operate a fast running train between Faisalabad and Karachi from November 9, which will cover the distance between the two main industrial cities of the country within 13 and a 1/2 hours.
The new train 'Millat Express' (17-Up/18-Down) with modern, comfortable coaches imported from China, will stop at Khanewal, Rohri and Hyderabad railway stations.
Its maiden run will be one way only, from Faisalabad to Karachi, while from the next day ie November 10, it will start operating both ways.
The train will leave Faisalabad at 4.30 pm daily, and reach Karachi Cantt. at 6.00 am the next day, while on its way back it will depart from Karachi at 4.30 pm and reach Faisalabad at 6.00 the next morning.
