Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers Association (North Zone) has expressed grave concern over the unnecessary delay in settlement of subsidy claims relating to the ISO Certification and strongly demanded that the board of administration of EDF should play its key role to ensure early settlement of long outstanding PHMA subsidy cases.
In a press statement, Salamat Ali, vice-chairman, PHMA (NZ), stated that most of ISO Certified hosiery manufacturers' units are still deprived of their just right of these incentives, which was announced by the Ministry of Science and Technology. "Despite lapse of almost three years and a number of reminders by the PHMA members, firms as well as the Association, the ministry is keeping this issue into cold storage," he said.-PR
