The Establishment Division on Monday notified transfers and postings of senior federal bureaucracy. According to the notification, Javed Sadiq Malik, secretary, Planning Division, has been transferred and posted as principal secretary to the Prime Minister; Dr Waqar Masood Khan, secretary, Economic Affairs Division (EAD), has been transferred and posted as special secretary to Prime Minister secretariat; Shujah Shah has been posted as secretary, EAD.
Rear Admiral Saleem Ahmed Meenai is posted as chairman, Port Qasim Authority, under the Ministry of Ports and Shipping on secondment basis.
Shahid Rafi has been posted as additional secretary (in-charge), Information Ministry. Earlier, he was serving as chief secretary, Azad Jammu Kashmir. His predecessor, Anwar Mehmud, has been given the new assignment of secretary, Health.
Riasat Hussain was transferred as director-general, National Institute of Public Administration (Nipa), Quetta and posted as additional secretary, Minorities.
K.B. Rind is posted as additional secretary, Overseas Pakistanis. Earlier, he was serving as additional secretary, Communications.
Gulzar Khan, who was serving as additional secretary, Kashmir Affairs, has been made an Officer on Special Duty (OSD).
Rasul Bux Baloch, who was waiting for his new assignment as an OSD, has been posted as additional secretary, Kashmir Affairs.
Khalid Latif, who was serving as secretary, Narcotics, has not been given any new assignment. He would remain as OSD till further orders.
Humayun Furshuri, who was serving as secretary, Labour, has been transferred and appointed as secretary, Planning and Development.
Mehmud Asad has been replaced as secretary, Local Government and made an OSD. Asad Shah has been replaced as additional secretary, Cabinet, and posted as secretary, Statistics.
Salim Gul Shaikh was transferred as secretary, Privatisation and posted as secretary, Tourism; and Shakeel Durrani was transferred as secretary, Population and appointed as secretary, Railways.
Asif Hayat has been appointed as secretary, Labour. His previous assignment was secretary, Railways. Major Zaheer Ahmed, an OSD, has been given the new assignment of additional secretary, Narcotics.
