Occupied Indian troops martyred two-Mujahideen in Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK), including a top commander, while four civilians killed and a trooper injured in a grenade explosion, officials claimed on Tuesday. Troopers from the Border Security Force overnight martyred Abdul Manan alias Abdullah commander Lashkar-e-Taiba, the BSF claimed in a statement.
"Abdullah was responsible for the killing of many security force personnel and also co-ordinating fidayeen (suicide) attacks," the statement said, adding the clash occurred in central Budgam district.
Occupied troops martyred another Mujahid in Anantnag district overnight, a police spokesman claimed.
Suspected Mujahideen, meanwhile, beheaded two civilians in the southern districts of Rajouri and Poonch overnight, he alleged.
Two more Muslims were shot dead by suspected Mujahideen in Kangan, 40 kilometres (25 miles) north-west of Srinagar on Tuesday, police alleged as no group has claimed responsibility for the four killings.
