Various companies established its stalls here at the Punjab University (PU) in connection with fund-raising ceremony for the special children. PU Vice-Chancellor Arshad Mahmood inaugurated the one-day Ramazan Welfare Fund Raising event for special children organised by the Human Resource Development Centre, Institute of Administrative Sciences.
Appreciating the holding of the event, Arshad said it is our duty to extend maximum help in the rehabilitation of the special children.
He visited different stalls of Haleeb Foods, Sufi Vegetable Oils, Packages and other companies.
Institute of Administrative Sciences Director Dr Zafar Iqbal Jadoon said the proceeds of the event would go to Punjab University Child Welfare Centre (CWC).
He said last year Rs 50,000 were contributed to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and hopefully this year the amount would exceed.
