I have seen the letter that appeared in your newspaper about the State Bank's Circular No 32. I have a small plot and want to start some industry. For a loan from the bank I have submitted the original documents of my open plot in-original. However, the loan was sanctioned but it was held up by the bank due to Circular No 32.
I am surprised to note that the Circular No 32 says that the bank will not allow a loan to purchase land. I wanted to deposit as security, my open land for an industrial unit.
I am unable to understand why the State Bank of Pakistan has deprived us of this facility of loan against an open plot/land. That it means I cannot start any business even if I have open land which I gave to the bank as security. Please assist in this matter.
