Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim called on Pakistan Muslim League veteran leader Pir Sahib Pagaro at Kingri House here on Thursday and discussed different matters and political situation with him.
Talking to newsmen after the meeting, Chief Minister said they also discussed affairs of the united Pakistan Muslims League. He informed that Secretary General PML and other leaders would soon meet Pir Sahib Pagaro to resolve the problems.
He reiterated appointments on jobs in different government departments would be made purely on merit and informed Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz had assured him to grant funds from federal government in that regard.
Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim said hundreds of school and hospital buildings were lying vacant and appointment of staff was needed for their functioning.
