Office-bearers of Shaheen Labour Union of Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) in its emergent meeting held on Thursday criticised the management of the exchange for what they said 'favouritism' while giving raise in the salaries of the employees. The meeting was chaired by President of the Union, Ijaz Hussain Mughal and attended by Vice President Nasir Hussain, General Secretary Mohammad Yousuf and other office-bearers.
The management has not done justice while giving raise in salaries, annual increment and bonus to the LSE employees, they added. They alleged that favourites have been awarded salary raise up to 60 percent while others have been given only 5 percent raise.
Likewise, some of the employees have been awarded 2 to 3 bonuses while many others have got nothing, which is worst example of discriminatory attitude on the part of the management.
"We strongly protest against this unfair and unjust treatment of the LSE management with the staff and employees," they told reporters after the meeting.
