A graduation ceremony was held at the School of Army Air Defence, Malir Cantt. Lieutenant General Khateer Hasan Khan, Commander Army Air Defence Command, was the chief guest says an ISPR press release. It said that while addressing the graduation ceremony, the Commander Air Defence Command congratulated the graduating officers on successful completion of the course.
He also congratulated allied officers on successful completion of their course and commended their contribution towards strengthening brotherly relations.
General Khateer stressed upon the officer to read the enemies mind imaginatively and remain several steps ahead to outwit him.
He dilated upon the importance of Air Defence support in the modern warfare.
General Khateer also praised the dedication and professional commitment of School staff for developing the state of the art training aids endogenously.
The graduating officers who were awarded certificates by the chief guest included Captain Tabassum Bashir who won the distinguished student's medal for securing first position in the course. Captain Kamran Abbasi and Captain Mohammad Imran were awarded Research Distinction Medal for writing the best research paper.
Earlier, Brigadier Pervez Akbar Commandant School of Army Air Defence, in his welcome address highlighted the training objectives of the course.
He also dilated upon the instructional methodology adopted by the school during the course of training.
