Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) Chief and Jamaat-i-Islami Amir Qazi Hussain Ahmed has said rulers are pursuing the US agenda and warned them to stop interference in the affairs of Madaris and mosques. Addressing an Iftar-cum-dinner in Rawalpindi Press Club here on Sunday, he said the MMA would not accept illegal raids on Madaris and mosques and no one has power to subdue the alliance.
He said the alliance has evolved a future strategy and would begin countrywide movement from November 28.
He said the MMA will start movement against Musharraf in Karachi and if not permitted then it will hold a rally in Rawalpindi on December 19.
Qazi said no Indian opposition leader considered Kashmir as disputed territory and committed to an integral part of India.
He said ninety percent Muslims are residing in Kashmir and it was never a part of India. He demanded a national stance on Kashmir and asked India first to accept Kashmir as disputed territory and then talk with Pakistan.
He criticised the law-enforcing agencies for their failure to maintain law and order situation.
About the military operation in Wana, he said both Pakistan and the USA are conducting the operation and said the USA is itself a terrorist state which is perpetrating atrocities in Iraq. He said India is also a terrorist country.
