The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced the result of Higher Secondary School Certificate Supplementary Examination (Part-II) 2004 with 39.22 pass percentage. The board, which has federal schools and colleges in its jurisdiction, declared that 5,110 candidates appeared in the examination out of which 1,988 have been declared successful with the 39.22 pass percentage.
In all 3,081 students pass their examinations, while the results of 39 candidates have been withheld. Two unfair means cases were also reported and are under process.
IN HUMANITIES GROUP: In all 2,477 candidates appeared in the examination of which only 869 got through, while 1,593 were declared fail.
IN PRE-MEDICAL GROUP: In all 410 candidates appeared of which 220 were successful, while 182 failed.
IN PRE-ENGINEERING GROUP: In all 593 candidates appeared of which only 277 were declared successful, while 310 failed.
IN GENERAL SCIENCE GROUP: In all 1,401 candidates appeared of which only 526 were declared successful, while 866 failed.
IN COMMERCE GROUP: In all 224 candidates appeared of which only 94 got through, while 127 failed.
IN PARA MEDICAL GROUP: Only five candidates appeared of which three were declared successful, while two failed.
All those candidates failing in more than two subjects were declared as 'Fail' in the gazette and they would have to appear in all the subjects, while those failing in one or two subjects have been placed under compartment and would be required to clear these papers in the allowed chance.
