ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid Friday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of veteran politician Meraj Muhammad Khan.
In a condolence message, the minister said Meraj Muhammad was a bold and courageous leader who put in tireless efforts to uphold democracy in difficult times during our political history. He was a true patriotic Pakistani and his services for the country will be remembered forever, Pervaiz Rashid added.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the members of the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
