Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao Thursday expressed satisfaction over the security arrangements during the holy month of Ramazan and Eid days. The minister was chairing a meeting here to review the security arrangements. "I appreciate and congratulate the security agencies for performing well and maintaining peace," the minister said addressing the meeting. He lauded the security departments for making stringent security arrangements in the capital and across the country.
"Efficient dispensation of duty by the police and other security agencies to maintain peace and thwart any untoward incident is commendable," he added.
He also conveyed his appreciation to all the Inspector Generals and praised their proficient security arrangements during Ramazan and the Eid day.
High officials from Interior Ministry, Islamabad police and KT administration were also present.
