Supreme Court approached for early hearing on 'uniform'

The Secretary General of women's wing of Watan Party, Punjab, Sabah Khan has approached the Supreme Court of Pakistan with prayer to hold early hearing of her petition pertaining to uniform of the President of Pakistan General Pervaiz Musharraf. The petitioner contended that democratic complexion of the country needed to be improved, therefore the uniform issue ought to be resolved as soon as possible as per constitutional interpretations to be made by the august court.
The petitioner contended that economic situation of Pakistan did not allow any wastage of time and resources on non-issues such as agitation and strikes. The petitioner prayed to the court through her counsel Barrister Zafar Ullah Khan to fix her petition for its disposal in accordance with the law.
