A delegation from the Chinese State Council for Information is expected to arrive here on Friday to begin a six-day tour and exchange views with their Pakistani counterparts. The delegation will be led by Vice Minister for Information Wang Guo Qiang and include senior officials from the Information Council. The delegation will meet federal Information Minister Shaikh Rashid and later hold conferences with the officials of the Pakistan Television, Radio and the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) and other media agencies.
The Chinese officials are visiting Pakistan following a visit by the Pakistani journalists earlier in July under the leadership of Sheikh Rashid.
