Intra-court appeal filed in LHC

A member of the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) has filed an intra-court appeal (ICA) against the decision of a single bench of the Lahore High Court (LHC), rejecting the plea of the petitioner against recent appointments of the additional judges in the august court.
The petitioner Barrister Zafarullah contended that appointments of the five additional judges in the LHC were made against the merit and in violation of decision of Supreme Court of Pakistan in judge's case. He prayed to the court to declare their appointment as illegal and without lawful authority.
