Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Saturday reviewed the development projects and schemes for provision of gas, clean drinking water and electricity recommended by the parliamentarians. The prime minister directed those schemes should start immediately to provide relief to the people. He said the provision of basic civic amenities to the people was the top priority of the government.
The prime minister directed the Finance Ministry and the Planning Division to release funds immediately for completion of the initiation of those projects.
The initiation of these projects would generate economic activity and create job opportunities in the country.
