Bus looted on highway

As many as 10 armed persons, hijacking a passengers bus at National Highway near Tando Musti, looted the inmates here on Sunday morning. According to details, 10 dacoits in disguise of passengers onboard the Bus No ADF-5956 from the Halani bus stop and after some distance hijacked the vehicle. They deprived the passengers of cash Rs 200,000 and other valuables, including gold ornaments, watches and cellular phones.
Later, the dacoits got out of the bus near Tando Musti Police Station and disappeared.
When the passengers approached the police station there were no policeman at the station. However, following the cries of oppressed passengers, SHO Tando Musti arrived and later went in chase of the culprits, but no accused could be nabbed.
