Bears stage comeback on ISE

Bears returned in the driving seat on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities moved in downward direction under the lead of trend-setters amid the decrease in index. ISE network index showed a decrease of 21.27 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,671.91 to 11,650.64 points, while the overall turnover amounted to 1,884,400 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,002,500 shares.
Total 144 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (80) closed in negative territory, 62 showed plus signs, while two companies remained glued to their previous positions.
The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser was 659,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 288,000 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 555,100 shares as compared to previous turnover of 936,100 shares. The volume of PTCL was 540,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 665,500 shares.
