An open auction of attractive registration marks of 'LZH' series is being held here on Thursday, (November 25). The auction will take place at the office of Director Excise & Taxation Region-C Lahore. According to sources, the reserved price for LZH-1 will be Rs 10,000/-, for LZH-7 and LZH-786 Rs 7,500/- while it will be Rs 5,000/- for remaining 133 attractive numbers of the series.
Under the new auction policy, sealed bids are also invited for sale of three-digit numbers of any series of registration marks in Lahore. The reserved price fixed for participation in sealed bid is Rs 1,000.
It may be mentioned that the provincial government is fetching substantial revenue through sale of attractive registration marks of vehicles in the province for which whole credit goes to sitting secretary E&T Sami Saeed, who ensured transparency in this process, the sources claimed.
