Best Teacher Award ceremony will be held here on Tuesday at the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE). Federal Education Minister Javed Ashraf Qazi would be the chief guest. Twenty-five best teachers would be awarded cash prizes of Rs20,000 each along with commendation certificates in recognition of their services, showing best results in SSC and HSSC level exams conducted by the FBISE in the year 2004.
The award is being instituted for the first time in the board's history on the directives of the education minister and will be instrumental in creating a healthy spirit of competition among teachers, and advancing the cause of education in the country.
