Sugar and wheat down on grain market

Easier trend was seen on the local grain market on Wednesday on easing supply position, dealers said. On the cereals side, wheat Mexipak new type shed Rs 5 on fresh arrivals while the old type managed to hold overnight level in modest trading. Sugar followed the same track, losing 50 paisa to Rs 1930 and Rs 1950. The other commodities maintained their overnight levels, brokers said.
On the seed sector, til Sindh better type lost Rs 50 to Rs 1800 while inferior type maintained the last level in activity, dealers said.
