ISE equities post handsome gains

Equities scored handsome gains under the lead of trend-setters at Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bullish trend continues during day's positive rally amid the increase in index. ISE network index showed an increase of 98.06 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,716.31 to 11,814.37 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 2,319,600 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,984,000 shares.
Total 133 companies were quoted on the ready-board. Some 83 advances outclassed 48 losses while two companies remained glued to their overnight levels.
The turnover of Fauji Fertiliser was 954,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 538,500 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 836,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 858,600 shares. The volume of PTCL was 224,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 459,000 shares.
