Hurriyat leader, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that he has decided to formally apply for passport to visit Pakistan to discuss Indian occupied Kashmir issue with Pakistani leadership to evolve a consensus on the issue, reports Kashmir Media Service. Mirwaiz said after travel documents are issued the New Delhi based Pakistan High Commission office will be approached for visa.
After completing all the formalities he will go ahead with the visit. It may be added here that Mirwaiz was recently granted temporary and country specific passport for visiting Jeddah and other places.
Another Hurriyat leader, Bilal Ghani Lone has travel documents while passports of other leaders were confiscated by Indian government. Mirwaiz said, we wanted to go to Pakistan to meet Pakistani leadership to evolve a consensus.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq who returned here from New Delhi on Friday after holding talks with Pakistan's Prime Minister, Shaukat Aziz said, they had endorsed composite dialogue process between New Delhi and Pakistan and urged him to involve Indian occupied Kashmiri representatives in the process.
