Mixed trend was observed on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls and bears had a close fight amid the increase in index. ISE network index showed an increase 5.09 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,890.71 to 11,895.80 points, while the overall turnover amounted to 1,927,900 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,765,800 shares.
Total 148 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (88) closed in positive territory, 58 showed negative signs while two companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The volume of OGDCL was 1,030,300 shares as compared to previous turnover of 765,800 shares. The turnover of PTCL was 429,000 shares. The volume of Pakistan Oilfields was 177,800 shares.
