Strong supply position pushed the deliveries lower on the forward cottonseed oilcake on Wednesday amid sluggish trading, dealers said. The December vaida opened with 10 paisa loss at Rs 402.50. Later, it gained 30 paisa to be day's best at Rs 402.80. In the process of trading it lost Rs 2 to be day's lowest at Rs 400 and closing was seen at Rs 401.50.
The next vaida commenced with 50 paisa gain at Rs 403.50. Later, it picked up just 10 paisa to be day's highest at Rs 403.60. During the day, it shed Rs 2 to be day's lowest at Rs 401.60 and settled at Rs 401.90.
