A three-day selection camp of PIA scouts for awarding President Gold Medal was held here in which PIA scouts from all over the country and those selected for President Gold Medal participated. Chief Commissioner Pakistan, Chief Scout PIA, and provincial commissioner PIA Scouts distributed the awards. Inaugurating the camp, Ghazanfar Mashkoor, Provincial Commissioner, PIA and International Commissioner Pakistan Scouts stated that scouting play vital role in cleaning the society from evils.
Senior Asstt. Provincial Commissioner, Mukhtar A. Qazi was the chief guest on the closing ceremony.
While addressing he said that holding of such camps provide facilities to meet each other. It is also a source of exchanging educational and cultural skills and working under a team. The chief guest declared the results and ten scouts from amongst the 28 who participated in the camp were declared successful and chief guest congratulated the winners of the award. Certificates were also distributed to the successful rovers/scouts and Shaheens.-PR
