The APNS has announced the winners of the 17th APNS Advertising Agency Awards for the period 2001 - 2002, which will be given at the APNS Awards Ceremony scheduled to be held on December 13, 2004 at Islamabad. M/s Orient Advertising by winning the highest business award for the 17th consecutive time, a feat unsurpassed in the history of Pakistan advertising. This year, the agency has won six awards in different categories.
To acknowledge the services of S.H. Hashmi the APNS has also decided to award him Akhbar Dost Award whereas he was given Millennium Award as well as Life Time Achievement Award in the past.
The panel of judges for the l7th APNS Agency Awards consisted of the following prominent advertising experts:

The APNS secretary general announced that the APNS has decided to give Akhbar Dost Award for placing the highest business with member publications during last two decades to S.H. Hashmi, Orient Advertising (Pvt) Ltd. It was further decided that Tahir A. Khan, Interfow Communications (Pvt.) Ltd, Anwar H. Ramal, Asiatic Advertising and Inam Akbar, Midas (Pvt) Ltd. will also be given Akhbar Dost Awards for their appreciable support to the print media.-PR
