Several variations were seen on the grain market on Monday in moderate trading, dealers said. On the grams side, gram garda Punjab lost Rs 75 to Rs 2175-2110, Gram dal New inferior type fell by Rs 80 to Rs 2350 and best type followed the suit and lost Rs 100 to Rs 2400. Yellow peas followed suit and lost Rs 80 to Rs 1475-1510 and dal yellow peas shed Rs 70 to Rs 1610-1645.
Bajra also shed Rs 10 for the low type to Rs 1290 and best quality lost Rs 30 to Rs 1430 on steady supply position.
On the cereals side, Tuver Punjab and Sindh was down by Rs 63 in sluggish business. Wheat Mexipak (old) shed Rs 40 to Rs 1200 and the new type lost the same amount to Rs 1210 in the process of trading.
Other sector did not show any major change in modest trading, dealers said.
