'Don't put Kashmir issue on backburner'

Liberation Forum Chairman Javed Ahmad Mir has urged India and Pakistan to solve Kashmir issue and said they should not restrict their concern to improving trade and economy between themselves. Liberation Forum chairman, in a press release said, Kashmir issue should not be put on the backburner. "The resolution of Kashmir issue will strengthen friendly ties between two countries on solid basis", he said.
Mir regretted that while the movement of people between two countries is on the rise, both are continuing with missile tests. "It is clear that both countries spend a huge amount on their defence budget", he said.
